I was advised in May 2005 by a personal counselor to explore The Teachings of Abraham by Esther & Jerry Hicks. It wasn't until January 2009 that one of their titles ("Ask And It Is Given") came into my hands. I read the latter, and liked it, and decided to look for more titles.My second book was "The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham", and I was sold. I bought my own copy + the next two books in the series on The Law of Attraction, "Money and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health and Happiness" and also "The Vortex: Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships". These 3 titles are now combined in this volume, "The Essential Law of Attraction Collection".
I have studied many different spiritual pathways since I severed my ties in 1987 from the orthodox Protestant religion in which I was raised. A few Bible verses however have stood out for me over all these years, and they are: Mark 4:33 (right after the parable of the mustard seed): "Never spake Jesus unto them other than in a parable; but when he was alone with his disciples, he told them everything." This meant to me that there have been through the ages two (2) sets of teachings: (1) a watered down, diluted teaching for the masses, and then (2) a core esoteric teaching for only those who were ready for a larger part of the Truth.
The second Bible verse which has always been meaningful to me is John 14: 12 - 13 where Jesus said: "You have seen me doing great things. Greater things than these ye will do........" and finally, the most important Bible verse to me is John 16:12 - 13 where Jesus said: "I have many more things to say unto you but you can not bear it now. Howbeit, when the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you in all truth."
What these 3 bible verses have in common for me is that they all allude to larger parts of the Truth being/becoming available for every person as he/she grows in their personal search for the meaning of Life.
To me, these Teachings of Abraham is what especially the gospel of Mark's quote above and the John 16 quote refer to. Every person finds/will find also his/her own "larger part of Truth" as they pursue their own search. The more sincere your search, the faster and closer I believe you will be guided to more facets of Truth.
I am eternally grateful for these Teachings of Abraham (who is a body of wise non-physical teachers) who transmit their wisdom via Esther Hicks. (Jerry transitioned into non-physical Life again in 2011 & Esther continues this amazing work on her own - with a team of helpers of course.)
It is a dream of mine to go on one of their cruise ship seminars in the near future. Esther also does many weekend workshops in various larger cities. This compendium of core teachings is a treasure that I will continue to read, re-read & study as I do every day of my Life for the past 2 years. The Science of Deliberate Creation - which postulates, "That what we think and then believe and expect, is/will be.". The Art of Allowing - which postulates "I am that which I am, and I am willing to allow all others to be that which they are."

As with all the Abraham Hicks series, I love this book. It is a compilation of 3 of their best books all in one. Easy to travel with if you choos.
I love these Esther Hicks books. I couldn't put it down. You have to give this book a try. I will definitely be reading this one again. You will think, realize, wonder, and then stop to be grateful all in one paragraph of reading.
My friend Carl Harvey recommended this book to me and it is FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to change their life in a very positive way!
If it’s by Esther Hicks - it’s always good. I have read books by Walsch, Neville, Braden, Dotts, Grout, Mohr, McTaggart, etc. - but she is the best in my opinion. Simple and easy to understand yet very powerful.
Simply put, the best teaching of the laws of the univetse - Better than all of "The secret" movement mentors combined; Better than Jesus; Better than Moses and all the of the jewish religion; Better than the rest of the monotheistic religions & teaching.
Many books are lacking the language of the vibration alignment, the art of alowing, the vortex and much more.
A must for every human being alive!
I have read other Law of Attraction info out there on the internet and in books, and have always felt that something was missing. There was still a missing piece of the puzzle that I was not understanding. Not anymore! Esther "Abraham Hicks" has filled in that missing piece. And not because they revealed any new or earth shattering information. Much of the information I had already learned from other sources and books. BUT, Abraham was able to explain Law of Attraction so clearly and made it so simple to understand that I had my "AHA" moment. The light bulb turned and my life has improved in every way ever since I "got it".
As it turns out, the Law of Attraction really is simple and the old tired cliche "it's all about mindset" is true. Esther "Abraham Hicks" explains concepts and ideas with situational examples in such a way that it just made common sense. I began to look at life in a new way. It did take much metal effort for me to cut through the clutter of the drama and negativity that is part of daily life. But the more I focused on the "correct" thoughts that is taught, the more I began to have beneficial "coincidences" start happening in my life.
Now these coincidences did not start happening overnight. I had years of crappy "wrong" thinking that I had to overcome. I also had to overcome the negative influences of some of the people surrounding me. And that was a challenge because I had to stop hanging around some good friends so much. But that's what I needed to do. Then, I slowly began to notice my life improving. Business, finances, relationships, everything was improving. Now, it is a fun game to watch things manifest "magically" before me.
So, for those of you on the fence about the Law of Attraction, just jump in and BELIEVE it works and it WILL work! That's the only way you will find out for yourself. And please don't believe all the skeptics with all their negativity, because that's exactly what they are there for... to throw doubt into your mind and keep you in a world filled with chaos.

Comparing this three-book collection to a print copy of one of the books (Vortex), I noticed a huge difference in the Table of Contents. The separate book has a very detailed Table of Contents, that makes it easy to zero in on a topic of special interest. The version of this collection does have a TOC for each book, but it's much more general.
If you buy the Vortex book as a separate book, it does have the detailed Table of Contents, and also includes a way to download the audio content.
So buying the three books separately is actually better.
